Background and Objectives: Drug abuse is one of the most tragic disasters which happen to the humanity and there is little hope of success unless these programs designed based on researches. The aim of this review is to assess different articles and identifying factors of addiction treatment and then adapting them to health education models construct. Materials and methods: By searching in Google Scholar keywords such as“Addiction, Treatment, Maintenance, Factors”, cross-sectional studies which were published in Elsevier, science direct, external and internal valid scientific sites (mostly specific and related to addiction) were chosen .These cross-sectional studies had greater sample size and more citations than the others and finally 23 articles (13 internal, 10 external) were evaluated and used. Result:After a review of the articles, 27 factors and motivations were associated with action and continuity of abandonment . Including: negative attitudes to consumption, external pressures, for children and parents, the family's insistence, the consequences of abuse, fear of legal troubles, humiliation, and loss of job, saving family communications, family support. The cases were classified in different constract. Conclusion: Factors related to addiction treatment concern with constructs of health education different models such as some health belief model constructs and theory plan behavior and also perceived social support were conformed . It is possible to achieve an independent model by investigating these constructs.
