Abstract

Abstract Background & Objectives: nowdays in daily life stress is a fact that cannot be denied from which it is impossible to separate .major stressor in individual life is job and nursing is one of the stressful professions. Because job stress causes physical and necessary to take emotional exhaustion and decreasing job efficiency ,it is some measure to subside it. Material & Method: the research carried out aiming of determining job stress in nursing personnel. The subjects of this descriptive research were 154 nurses how had the qualifications of job research unit at educational and medical centers medicine of north Khorasan using stratified random sampling. Data affiliated to school including personal and job information, degree through questionnaire of job stress which was completed by research unit. For the purposes of data analysis software, SPSS 15 depending on the appropriateness of the methods of descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t test, ANOVA and post hoc Tukey test was used. Result: major findings of this research showed that 62 percent of research units reported job stress with low amount, 30 percent job stress with medium amount and 8 percent job stress with high amount. Conclusion: the decrease in job stress can be the result the high application of coping strategies that need further studies.

Abstract

Abstract Background & Objectives: Nurses as the chief members of supervision-treatment team have an important role on improving and enhancing the health of the society. Stress is a known component in nursery. Applying compatibility methods will be essential when meeting tensional factors. This study aims at considering the relationship between job stresses with coping strategies on nurse staffs in educational hospitals of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences Materials& Methods: This is an analytical- descriptive study of correlation. 154 nurse staff-related hospitals- of north Khorasan’s medical-science University participated in this study. Data collecting tool was questionnaire composed of three parts: personal-job specifications, rate of job stresses and coping strategies. The job stress questionnaire is a researcher- made one, adopted from Cooperz’ , Salimi’(1996) and Schtienmenz’. Lazaros and Fokman questionnaire was used to assess coping strategy. Data were analyzed by SPSS software and presented with ANOVA, t- test and multi-regression. Results: The study showed that the job stresses encountering ways have a significant negative correlation with confronting and escape – avoidance mechanism P<0/001. In 29.2 percent of the studied samples there was a little job stress (P<0/001). The prevailed method of applying coping strategies method was the way of seeking social support (P<0/001) confirmative coping ( P<0/001) and self-continence( P<0/00) were the predicting factors of job stress controlling. Conclusion: Findings of this study could be utilized to plan programs to decrease tension factors and to increase the nurses’ compatibilities. Besides, it could be considered as a motivation for other studies in nursing related disciplines and also cognition of nurses’ problems and difficulties.

Abstract

Background and Objectives: The University of Medical Sciences is one of the most important organizational justices of the giving service to the citizens and the main purpose of that is giving service and supplying citizens’ needs. The study of the ethical behavior of nurses of this organization and its affecting of organizational justices leads to offer better services.

Materials and Methods: This descriptive and correlation analysis was performed to assess the role of job stress as a mediator between organizational justices and the job ethics of nurses. According to statistics offered in 2015, the number of total nurses of Taleghani hospital Mashhad was about 400 persons, from which 200 person were selected using the sampling formula. The survey method and questionnaire were used to collect the information. Then the data were analyzed using AMOS statistical software. 

Results: The organizational justice improved the job ethic. Moreover, stress can be as a mediator in this relationship between organizational justice and the job improvement ethic.

Conclusion: The study showed that there was a relationship between organizational justice and job ethic of nurses. Therefore, organizational justice could lead to their job ethic. Beside the positive role of organizational justice in job ethic improvement, the job stress act as a mediator in this relationship in which the effect of organizational justice on the job ethics is more among the nurses with low stress.

Abstract

Introduction: Job stress is one of the main factors that reduce productivity in organizations and cause physical and psychological complications among employees. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between different dimensions of job stress and job satisfaction among accountants of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences.
Method: This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 accountants. Questionnaires on job stress (role, communication, support from officials, support from colleagues, control, demands, and changes) and job satisfaction from Minnesota were used to collect data. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS22 with a significance level of P=0.05.
Results: The results showed that there was no significant relationship between job stress and some factors such as age, education level, marital status, and work experience. Job stress and 6 of its 7 components (communication, support from officials and colleagues, control, demands, and change) were significantly related to job satisfaction (P=0.05).
Conclusion: Since job satisfaction is related to different dimensions of job stress, it can be increased in accountants by improving the different dimensions of job stress, including role, communication, and support from officials and colleagues
