Abstract Metanephric adenoma is a rare benign renal tumor the clinical and radiological features of which are often similar to the malignant renal adenocarcinoma. The diagnosis of metanephric adenoma remains primarily on post-operative pathologic examination. It has a good prognosis and frequently occurs in middle-aged women. In the present study we report a case of metanephric adenoma in a 32-year-old female. She presented with severe right flank pain and abdominal mass. Nephrectomy was performed and histopathology was consistent with the diagnosis of metanephric adenoma.
