Abstract Background & Objectives: Anger is one of the main causes of youth referred to mental health counseling and it is considered as the main health problem. Frequent arousal anger may activate aggressive behavior and it might damage psychological adjustment, individual and social health. Therefore preventive and effective strategies of anger management are seemed to be necessary. The aim of this study is to determine the efficacy of offline education on anger management in guide school female in Mashhad. Material & Methods: This study was a semi-experimental research by using pretest and posttest and also a control group was included. 150 female students from area 4 were selected randomly and divided into two groups. Measurement tools of the research included: demographic data questionnaire and Nelson anger questionnaire that were completed in two stages, before and one month after the intervention. Intervention was administered anger management program for the intervention group via the offline. The resulted data were analyzed by SPSS software version 16 and presented with chi-square test, T-independent. Result: Anger scores showed no significant level of difference between two groups (p=0.511). However after the intervention scores were significantly different (p= 0/011). Chi-square test showed that two groups are similar in terms of demographic variables. Conclusion: Since anger control and management programs, in the indirect method, using the computer and educational CD in the home is an effective way to improve anger control, Therefore, as a whole and in the larger community it can be used at all levels of education
